Today it rained, showers, some heavy & even hail on occasions until 7.30pm. We spent the day on boat doing chores with me getting more frustrated with the inadequesies of the iPad. This is the most overhyped bit of kit the silicon fanatics have ever produced. No manual, "everything intuitive" - my arse. Will never buy apple again. Their arrogance in not letting anything non apple be compatible is pathetic & the iPad is just an apps machine where maybe 5% of the apps available are actually any good. End of rant.

We did catch up on emails & make a start on the electronic blog & I re-routed the shower base pipe as the new one from Arthur's was not man enough to pump the water out.

Finally got off Doucette at 7.30pm for a stroll round the village & Collette had a Mexicana & frites from the friterie. A pretty bland & actually disgusting lump of sausage meat deep fried with McDonalds style greasy chips. Definitely a gourmet mistake. We then endured 3 more episodes of Downton before bed just after midnight to round off a pretty average day.
